Customised
Motorcycle collaboration created for One Hand art show

This is a collaboration
between 4 artists. The bike was purchased, dissasembled and modified a
bit, then all the parts were painted white
like a blank canvas. Each artist then took a piece and painted it with
whatever they wanted, adhearing to a pre discussed color scheme.
As well as the paint on the metal parts the seat was covered by upholsterer
Duncan Gardiner, then colored by Shema
Ladva. The engine
was hand engraved by me and polished a bit.
The bike was then re assembled at the One Hand Art Show on brick lane
in september. Thanks to my father for the re assembly due to
my broken collar bone. Thanks to Izabela
habur For the photos.
The artists are:
Adam Bartlett
Lewis Campbell
Shema Ladva

Custom
Kicks book by Maki

I was included in the
great new book Custom Kicks by Maki
Customizing is hot. Everything can be customized; from pimped cars to
retro furniture. This major trend is
especially popular in footwear. Customizing your own shoes is a way of
stepping out of the crowd, of showing
your personality. Just about every sneaker brand has found a way to put
street art into their products; rain boots
have never been more hip; and there are even customizing festivals and
exhibitions. Showcasing the work of 150
artists and illustrators who have been invited to show/create customized
shoes, the book will appeal not only to
sneaker freaks, fashion fetishists and trend watchers, but also to the
graphic-design and art audience. The text
examines the trend and asks: how did it start? What materials do the artists
use? There are also tips and tricks
on how to create your very own unique shoes.

Illustrations
for Plan B Magazine

I did illustrations
for 2 issues of Plan B Magazine.
Plan B builds on the success of editor-in-chief Everett True's acclaimed
previous magazine Careless Talk Costs
Lives, extending its coverage to champion counter-culture in literature,
film, comics, videogames and the visual
arts. Confrontational without being cliquey, Plan B is part of a cultural
underground that looks outwards.

Shitbox is a lightweight
portable cardboard toilet, made specifically for outdoor use.
The box pops up from a convinient 14 inch flatpack to a rigid, reuseable,
cardboard toilet.
